Neighborhood Spotlight: Old Seminole Heights

Location: Tampa, FL

Established: 1911

OSH is the largest of the 3 neighborhoods that makes up greater Seminole Heights district, the other two being South Seminole Heights and Southeast Seminole Heights.

Seminole Heights, founded in the early 1900s, has more bungalows than any other neighborhood in Tampa.

OSH contains two US Historic Districts, Seminole Heights Residential District and Hampton Terrace Historic District. There are hundreds of houses in the neighborhood included in the National Register of Historic Places, many of them bungalows and craftsman built between 1912-1928.
