Fall in Love with New England
On a recent Instagram Story I asked what your favorite destination was for fall colors. A surprise to none, New England took the cake. Below are some camera worthy destinations and droll worthy homes that hit the market this week.
Connecticut
Connecticut got the least amount of praise, but maybe that means less crowds!
If you love Connecticut you’ll love this 1870 farmhouse on 2.3 acres:
If you love Rhode Island you’ll love this 1772 Historic Post and Beam:
Salem, Massachusetts specifically got a lot of love from the community (top photo). Bish Bash Falls and Mount Auburn Cemetery are equally beautiful!
If you love Massachusetts you’ll love this Sebastian Mariscal design:
Vermont was the most mentioned state in New England. Stand out towns include Montpelier, Stowe and Woodstock. If you make a trip to Woodstock, make sure to stop by the next town over, Pomfret, to capture the Insta-famous Sleepy Hollow Farm.
If you love Vermont you’ll love this cute Cape:
According to you, White Mountain was the place to be in New Hampshire during fall, but there are magical places all over the state including Artist’s Bluff and a little A-Frame on an island on Lake Winnipesaukee.
If you love New Hampshire you’ll love this condo in a brick and stone carriage house:
If national parks are your thing, Acadia National Park offers great fall colors, but it can get very busy and some areas may require a permit (advanced reservation). Camden is worth a trip as well as heading inland.
If you love Maine you’ll love this cozy cabin:
