Fit for a Feast! 25 Amazing Kitchens of 2025

1. Meticulously cared for, this mid-century home showcases an expansive open layout where the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow seamlessly together, centered around a striking limestone fireplace and enhanced by terrazzo flooring. Every detail reflects quality craftsmanship, from the custom finishes throughout to the thoughtful integration of natural elements that bring the outdoors in.

2. An iconic modernist achievement, this stilt house built between 1956 and 1959 was designed by architect Georges Lacaze in close collaboration with its patron, Jean-Paul Pic. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 2008.

3. A vivid blue kitchen is the heart of this Victorian home, featuring stunning stone counters & backsplash, a Bertazzoni range and custom cabinetry & hardware.

4. A soft palette helps set the tone in the heart of this Victorian home built in 1886. Granite black-and-white countertops match the backsplash, and appliances are imported from Italy, with handmade lighting from deVOL imported from England. The fluted and rounded kitchen island is intersected by a column of brick that went to the home’s coal stove in the basement, used previously to heat the home.

5. Hand-crafted organic architecture masterfully designed by Kendrick Bangs Kellogg in 1984.

6. A meticulously revived residence that blends historic architecture with sophisticated modernity. The kitchen is a study in elegance, where classic design meets contemporary function, featuring bespoke cabinetry and statement fixtures.

7. Originally built in 1920, this magnificent Colonial has been thoughtfully restored by the present owners to its original grandeur. Designed with both form and function in mind, the kitchen boasts a professional-grade 8-burner Ilve gas range with double ovens, a custom range hood, a gorgeous tile backsplash, and an expansive center island. Premium DuraSupreme cabinetry, marble countertops, a Bosch dishwasher, and a Fisher & Paykel built-in refrigerator offer top-tier functionality, while an exposed brick floor and a Devol sink and faucet add character and elegance.

8. The renovated kitchen in this 1871 Italianate brownstone has a commercial-grade space designed for indestructibility. It is also designed for warmth, with a wood-burning Rumford fireplace, fashioned from bluestone quarried in Alcove, NY (the same stone chosen for a deep Japanese soaking tub in the adjoining bath). A full glass curtain wall creates an immersion in the changing light of the Noguchi-inspired garden.

9. This 140-year-old home, surrounded by rolling vineyards and orchards, has an expansive kitchen featuring a European 10-foot prep island, custom inset cabinetry, and a dedicated coffee bar.

10. This 1920s Spanish Colonial has a thoughtfully remodeled kitchen which features period-accurate Fireclay tile, eco-friendly Marmoleum linoleum flooring and custom cabinetry.

11. Welcome to the 1960s! This mid-century kitchen includes vintage appliances, fixtures, and decor with an original Frigidaire Flair oven (the same one in Bewitched) and GE Fridge with Lazy Susan pullout shelves.

12. Built in 1936 by Carr Jones, who is known for his storybook style using handcrafted recycled details that blend with the colonial mission style. This charming home is constructed with double-brick walls, wooden doors with hand forged iron details, arched doorways, quarry tile floors, and wood-plank timbered ceilings. Even the walk-in pantry is a delight!

13. This kitchen is a showstopper, illuminated by an expansive skylight with cross-hatched wood accents which imbues the space with a Parisian feel. Two of Urban Electric's "Kronam" lanterns make a dramatic statement over the large Calacatta Vagli Oro marble center island with a beautiful beveled curved edge. A Jaworski Woodworks cabinet adds warmth to the kitchen decorated with fully tiled walls. The scullery with gorgeous Brèche de Vendôme marble features large sink, custom wood doors with ribbed glass, beverage drawers and ribbed wood trim crown molding. Off the kitchen is a cozy den with walls and ceilings lined in Scalamandre's Marly velvet.

14. This 1891 Folk Victorian home boasts a bold kitchen with a General Store counter repurposed into a kitchen centerpiece and imported bronze hardware from England.

15. This apartment is in a 1920s-built former clothing factory. The hallmarks of its warehouse origins remain in situ, from pivoting Crittall windows to soaring exposed concrete ceilings. Tucked beneath a mezzanine level, the kitchen is at the fore of the room. L-shaped units demarcate the space and are partly lined with brass. A fluted internal window slides open behind the kitchen, allowing natural light to seep into the bathroom beyond.

16. A rowhouse built in 1852 full of thoughtful details. White Oak floors span the first floor, leading to a beautifully appointed kitchen with a striking arched brickwork over the cooktop. The kitchen features seamless built-in appliances, honed marble countertops with an integrated drain board, hardwood accents, and a farmhouse sink complete with sink skirt. The island features moveable cabinetry to allow seating for four. Even a clever countertop hatch opens to the basement, a practical storage space with a secondary washing machine.

17. This Craftsman’s period kitchen is rich in charm with vintage tile and original leaded glass windows.

18. The kitchen in this Craftsman bungalow is designed for style and function with Carrera marble countertops, Devol tile backsplash, an apron sink, and brass hardware, plus a gas stove, beverage fridge, and custom walnut bar. A built-in banquette makes the space feel intimate and effortless.

20. This organic Pueblo-style estate, designed by Lee Hutchison, blends warmth and Southwestern charm with polished concrete accents, a 24K gold farm sink, hand-painted tile accents and adobe brick walls.

21. This 1927 Prairie-Style Home preserves its historic charm with refinished original cabinetry, seamlessly matched with custom-built additions to maximize storage.

22. This 1911 treasure makes great use space by wrapping the kitchen around to the dining room and maximizing storage by bringing the cabinets to the ceiling.

23. Proof that good things come in small packages in this 1900’s rowhouse galley kitchen where abundant windows allow sunlight to pour in.

24. The kitchen in this 100-year-old Spanish home features a bay window and is appointed with bespoke custom cabinetry, marble countertops, vintage-style tile, and modern appliances — except for the original stove! — along with a charming separate pantry and back entrance.

25. Last on the list is the Historic Eldron Farm dating back to 1715. Spanning 372 acres, the estate includes pastures, a Gil Schafer-designed lodge, a main house, guest cottages, and restored historic buildings by top designers including Suzanne Kasler and Amy Morris. All of the kitchens are an absolute dream.
