RV Park Review - Wheel Inn RV Park

Wheel Inn RV Park

Fredonia, AZ

Website

Overall - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Price - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

$425/mo all inclusive

No calling an internet company or power company here! Just show up and hook up.

Location - ⭐⭐⭐

The best way I can describe this RV park is “about an hour from it all.” With so much world class hiking in northern Arizona and southern Utah it is a little odd that Fredonia, AZ got the short end of the stick with absolutely no hikes. But you are around an hour from Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion National Park, Lake Powell and Sand Hollow State Park. If you are into sand boarding, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is less than an hour drive.

There is a Dollar General in town, but Kanab, UT is only 10 minutes up the road and has a couple real grocery stores.

One more thing to note about the location is the wind. It isn’t every single day, but it is all year long!

Internet - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am such a stickler on internet since I work from home. When you call a RV park and they don’t boast about their internet speeds it’s safe to assume it will be less than ideal. This park has the best internet out of any place we’ve stayed.

Other Amenities - N/A

No laundry on site, but only a couple minute drive. Don’t speed!! The Marshals are ALWAYS pulling people over in this little town.

Property Condition - ⭐⭐

This is a no frills property. It is basically a giant dirt lot with a row for RVs in the center and a row for mobile homes on one side. The RV spots are all pull-thru and pretty spacious though.

Ease of Stay - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owner was probably my favorite so far. He doesn’t nickel and dime people and seems nice and laid back.
